I keep getting distracted by falling asleep or I've been binge amazon-ing lately which you know how that's my addiction. And NO, I haven't bought anything.
It is so crazy tomorrow is Thanksgiving (30 minutes actually). It seemed not long ago when Thanksgiving was so far off. Some of the replacements have already arrived for the CSH. Only a couple weeks before 673 replacements show up. Things are going fast. Buckle your seatbelt belt.
You mentioned boring in your letter. If you haven't gotten the drift, my life here is pretty boring. Maybe something happens once a week. That's if I'm lucky.
Story... when we were dating and I was all twitter-patted/nervous/anxious/smitten over you and pondering/obsessing over wether I should possibly ask you to marry me and wondering if I'm crazy or not. Then one day we were sitting in the commons area or club house, whatever it was called at our apartments, and I think you were sewing and I was studying and we just sat there together doing our things. Funny but it was in this superbly boring moment that I felt a strong feeling of peace and just at ease, like it was so natural and nice to share a super boring moment together. I don't know why but I can remember clearly that that was a defining moment for me knowing that we could be happy together. So sharing life's boring moments is privilege we get to share with each other.
Tomorrow morning is the Turkey trot 5k. Then going to the gym. Then eating dinner. Then sleeping. That's my plan man.
I am so grateful that I can share my life with you. I told CPT England about our letter writing. He was very impressed. He said he could take lessons from me. I think it is us he is talking about. We've got a good thing going!
I love you more than a dog loves peeing on fire hydrants.
Happy American Thanksgiving! I'm super thankful for my family!
Your Pilgrim
