Birthday Girl Ava!!

We slept in a bit because my weird alarm said it went off but didn't make any sound. But we still had time to get up and out the door without being too rushed. The kids were all in a good mood because they were excited for Ava. We got to talk to you before heading to Preschool. We brought our cupcakes to share and Ava girl was pleased. She even got to wear the Elsa costume so she was thrilled.
Preston was really needy today and just wanted to be snuggled all day I made him a quick lunch and then he went right down for his nap. Ava was playing happily with her elsa dolls (yes plural) and Ana doll so I started work on our stockings. I finished one and I think it looks alright. It seems to be doing ok so I guess I'll continue.
Mom got home exactly as I was leaving to pick up the kids so I left Preston home with her while I got them. It is so cold out and he had just woken up. We were a few minutes late but the kids were excited because it was the celebration of learning and book fair today so they didn't mind too much. Izaac handled it well when I told him he didn't get to choose a book this time because he didn't complete our deal so we agreed that he could try again today because the book fair will still be going tomorrow as well.
Izaac went to scouts, We picked up toothbrushes the dental clinic donated, picked up a few things for our birthday breakfast for dinner, and went back to the school to pick our Cora's book from the sale. We wandered around for awhile and picked out some books then went to Coras class where she showed me her portfolio of what they have been working on and we played her math games and with magnets before we had to head back to get Izaac. I dropped off the girls and the food at home then went to pick up Izaac from scouts and back to the school to see Izaac's class. We played a math game and saw his desk and a powerpoint he had started then we had to rush back home. He wanted to show me his recorder skills but got nervous with everyone else(other parents and kids)in the room. He was dying to go to the bathroom so we made a post stop before getting home at 6:15 just in time to talk to you and open Ava's presents. It was almost 7 before we got dinner started and besides Preston who was having a hard time with everything but especially not getting any presents, although Izaac gave him one to make him feel better, it was supposed to be his Christmas present but he wanted to give it to him early. He seemed satisfied with that, well that and the pancake I let him have before we all sat down to eat.

We had a nice dinner followed by cupcakes with a sparkler number 4 in it. We ate, Izaac completed his 5 chores happily and quickly. Everyone eventually got to sleep and I stayed up way to late yet again watching shows on TV. I am ready to turn in and hit the sack. and I really have to hit the potty first so I suppose that will be my first stop as a potty brake in bed doesn't seem to bode well with a good night sleep.

My goals tomorrow are to enjoy our awesome kids. Have fun with Ava's Birthday extension and laugh as much as possible.
