Tomorrow is fo' real!
Tomorrow starts my official half way routine. I'm really excited. I like goals and making recommitments. So tomorrow I'm recommitting to my strict schedule of exercise and sleep and all that jazz. I'm toying even with the idea of going back to 3AM gym time. I did crossfit today for the first time. It was just an intro to the lifts and stuff. I'm going to try to do it 3 days a week and then lift 3 days a week. Not sure yet. It is very competitive and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It also seems encouraging and motivational at the same time. I can see how you liked it, it kind of seems like you. Funny how it is a thing to wear weird colorful socks too. Also seems like you.
Had a delicious hamburger for dinner, milkshake and onion rings with a PB cup for desert (the milkshake was part of dinner so it wasn't desert)
Church was nice. Had a good discussion about 10 virgins, talents, and sheep/goats. I don't know if I realized or not, or maybe I need to verify if it is true, but someone said the virgins were all brides in a polygamist wedding and were all going to their own wedding but missed it. I still have it in my mind they were bridesmaids and just part of the ceremony. I guess if it is true that makes the parable even more significant. I think I remember talking about how we are married w/ Christ when we take His name on us. Maybe that was reference to that parable. With the talents my thought was how "talents" had nothing to do in the parable with what we term talents to mean. It was literal money. So the Lord was hiring brokers to take His money and invest it. Of course two did their job and one didn't do it at all. In that light it makes complete sense that you would fire the one that buried the money. It also makes sense that the other two were payed equally for doing their job. It is nice to know that the pay is the same no matter what our abilities are, so long as we increase value of the Lord's kingdom.
Mom is unsure if you are coming Thursday or what and is waiting for you to confirm so she can change her work possibly. FYI.
Hey, where is your letter? I thought we were pen pals! I look forward to your letter and love to hear from you.
I sat with SSG Hof at dinner and he said that he always eats alone so I guess he liked having a buddy.
I also had a nice gospel lunch talk with Brother Hamblin which was nice. He's the one that has to stay extra for a while until an investigation gets taken care of.
Well, it's way passed my beauty rest time - actually it's beyond the point of no return. But I'm going to bed. Look forward to talking to you in the morning.
Much love!
You are very lovely!
