Geronimo

So this might be a sorry letter. It's super late (for me) and I promised myself starting Dec 1 I will not miss waking up at 4am until I go home. Hmmmm.

I love hearing your stories. You do wonderfully at picking out the little phrases and moments from the kids that bring a smile. I seem to always forget what funny moments there were. The only thing I remember is my patient said "oftenly". I asked if he used tobacco products and he started by saying often but then changed it up to occasionally and it became "oftenly". Of course I had to tell the joke about "you too!". Goal for tomorrow is to use oftenly in a sentence.

I know other funny things happened. SSG Hoff told me that I am funny today. He's said that before. I never know if that means "ha ha, you're funny" or "aaaaaaaah, you're funny". I'm going with the former.

The front desk guy also came back to my office to give me knucks and tell me that I "am awesome all of the time".

Let's see, what else can I brag about myself. Well, truth is, I paid them all to say nice things.

I became outraged at a rude lady on the phone. No one wanted to give me an estimate for painting. One lady answered and said that something something busy, let me get your number and they will call you back. I told her I'm deployed and don't have a number. She snapped back at me and said well they will have to call you back. I suggested that maybe email or I could call at a later time or a different number I could call to get a hold of them. Apparently she didn't believe me because she was so irritated and I was trying to explain my situation and finally she just cut me off and said have a nice day and hung up in my mid sentence. I couldn't believe it!

So I boiled over that for like 30 minutes.

Anyways, I miss your laugh. Laugh as much as you can. Enjoy being with family and make memories. I can't wait to laugh with you and make our own memories again.

My eyes are falling from my head staring at this. I need to go to bed! I do want to be cuddled with you. I love to listen to you as you tell me your day and about the kids, and things on your mind. It is so relaxing to hear your voice and I love hearing your stories. Tell me lots of stories when we get home.

I adore your bright eyes and soft smile!

Your ever admirer and fan!
