Quickie

Dear Hot Stuff,

I'm going to make this short because it is a super late night for me. It was our last soccer game, we lost. I finally had my glory in the sun a bit though with my hand (or foot) on both of our goals. One I scored myself, and the other was an assist by me. So I felt good but it was still disappointing we lost. Even so we had tons of fun and afterwards several of us stayed to watch the next game and had tons of laughs. Like you, it does feel good to just laugh. I'm grateful for that.

I did get up and run and had a nice talk with the kids on the phone, especially Cora who was very excited and goofy. Isaac was trying to be the responsible one I could tell. I did do my workout but I didn't get any progress on my statement or letters. I should have planned those goals out better anyways because there was simply no extra time with soccer tonight. I went straight there and straight home (minus a subway stop - not the train but the sandwich)

Tomorrow I don't think I will wake up to run because it is too late. My main goal is to make time for my statement and letters, workout, and go to bed early I think.

I have felt the hand of the Lord as He allowed me to associate with some people and share some laughs and feel included and part of a team and a group. It was really fun to play on a team again and feel the commitment and energy of each other's association. Reminds me of the game of life and our teams we play on: whether the Pilgrim team, or the LDS team, or work team, or friend team. We have lots of teams that we train and practice and execute with.

I'm so happy to be on a team with you. Of all the "teams" I play on, your team is the most elite and my most favorite. We play well together and I think make for a winning team. Go Us!
