To my Justice of the peace
We got up early, ok it was like 8:30 and got all the kids dressed and out the door for our big movie outing. There were 4 movies to choose from and tables lined with "kids meals" popcorn pop treat boxes. so we grabbed a bunch and went in to watch movies. We all split up based on the movie we wanted to watch and it was fun.
After we grabbed a pizza before heading to Walmart. I just handed Izaac money and he goes up and orders it. I love how confident he is and how well he does at those sorts of things. I remember when he was younger and I forced him to ask for something at the McDonalds counter He was so nervous but also really wanted to do it at the same time. I think we spent at least a 1/2h going back and forth between him wanting whatever it was and me saying well if you want it then just ask them for it. I think he finally did it and was so stoked about it. He has gotten better since. I love that little man and all the ways he is growing up.
We did our think at Walmart and then headed home and did nothing for the rest of the day. Mom and dad went in to a movie and Adrien was out with friends so we had the place to ourselves. I love moments like this. I appreciate everyone and all they have done for us but it is so nice to just be our family. I got the dishes finished and the kitchen looking great while the kiddos picked up the living room. I need to provide them more opportunities to be responsible they enjoy the challenge and I like working together as a family to improve our house.
We had an earlier bedtime due to our late few nights and they did well. Cora and Ava stayed up a bit later but the boys went right to sleep. or at least they were quieter.
My goal is to study the scriptures and I am not doing a great job. I read but I just don't study it very well. I am trying to pray before to bring the spirit and it helps but I am having a hard time staying focused.
I am excited to go to church on Sunday and I am hoping to feel the spirit and give a focus to my studies as I attend Sunday school and RS.
I am glad for any moment we get to talk to each other! I love hearing your voice and I am happy you are doing well.
I apologize that this is rather short and random but I left it too late and now my thoughts are wandering towards my bed and my aching body, could use a back rub if you know of anyone interested;)
I love you!!!!
and I am too tired to think of anything clever for my send off,
From your Alley cat?? no thats just kind of weird... never mind,
Just lots of love!
