Dear woman of my life,
I'm going to keep writing to you of my thoughts of general conference. It's actually about my bed time so I'll see how much longer I make it. I fell asleep for like 4 hours today so maybe I'll be up longer because of that. We'll find out.
But I turned on General Conference and it is the first session of Sunday live. It was cool to think that possibly you were watching the same thing as me at the same time. It makes the distance feel a lot smaller when I think of that. It was just the start of Elder Nelson's talk about women. I just want to tell you that I admire and believe in your abilities and faith as a woman. You are a great woman and do tremendous things and much good where ever you are. I especially admire and am grateful for the small yet consistent ways you find and perform service. You don't complain and you always keep moving forward. I support you in your role and mission to do the Lord's work and His service throughout our lives. First in our home but then in our ward and community, I will be there to assist you in your work and efforts. What a cool thing to see the president of the quorum of the twelve apostles declare an apostolic blessing and promise to all the women of the church across the world and call them to step forward and usher in the second coming. That's pretty big. I want you to know that I am 110% in for you and with you the whole way.
Sister Marriot spoke of their family motto "It will all work out". I kind of had "and they lived after the manner of happiness" picked out for us but was thinking, "We can do it" would be another good one. What do you think?
Thanks for being my woman, I'm proud to be your man!
